Background: Both the Tehachapi and Pleasant Valley State Prisons needed to upgrade their medical facilities to handle inmate patient care. Each project involved construction of a new primary care facility and pharmacy/lab and renovation of four onsite primary care clinics. Project timetables and construction phasing in a highly secure area were critical aspects of these projects.

Project Work: The CM Solutions scheduler worked with the general contractor from the beginning of each project through closeout. Project delays were successfully managed and converted into project time extensions due to thorough time impact analysis performed by the CMS team.
