OWNER:
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP)
PROJECT VALUE:
$249 million
Background: This project replaced existing open reservoirs with underground concrete reservoirs to comply with the State Department of Dams (DSOD) standards. Phase 1 consisted of construction of a 55-million-gallon concrete reservoir, the connecting piping, and a 3,000 foot tunnel. Phase 2 consisted of construction of a 60-million-gallon concrete reservoir, the inlet and outlet piping, and installation of a 840 foot steel pipeline.
Project Work: CM Solutions developed the fully resource and cost-loaded baseline schedule and maintained the schedule updates. We also performed multiple Time Impact Analyses for a variety of unforeseen events that ultimately revealed a total of 386 compensatory days. All time-related matters were settled in negotiations with the Owner.
