Electric Vehicle Battery Plant

Background: Samsung and Stellantis built an electric vehicle (EV) battery plant in Kokomo, Indiana. Initially producing 23 gigawatt hours of batteries per year, it has the goal of increasing to 33 gigawatt hours at full capacity, producing enough batteries to supply about 670,000 vehicles per year.
Project Work: CMS developed master and baseline schedules with 45 trades using 4D synchro, P6, and Bluebeam to properly sequence activities. We developed project KPIs and monitored them with Power BI dashboards. CMS worked with project managers to provide updates on project status and delays with suggestions for mitigation to keep projects on track. We also performed critical path and schedule risk analysis and mitigation.
