Background: The LAX Economy Parking Facility is a new approx. 4,300-stall parking structure at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), providing new drop-off/pick-up locations and short- and long-term parking options. This four-story smart parking structure features EV charging stations and many sustainability options. Opened in late 2021, it reduces traffic congestion by giving travelers an alternative option to driving into the Central Terminal Area, particularly when LAX is at the height of construction.
Project Work: CM Solutions provided the baseline schedule, reviewed contractors’ schedules, and prepared monthly updates and reports. A 4D schedule was prepared to effectively communicate project status to the airport’s executive management.
