Oversee cost and forecasting of natural gas projects. Communicate with Project Manager, Costs/Schedule Leads, and Project Controls Manager, regarding expenditures, budgets, commitments, estimate at completion, forecast and schedule reports. Ensure all costs schedules are accounted during the project life cycle. Ensure schedules include progress measurement reporting. Work closely with Project Managers to review project financial status, identify deviations from planned budget and explain variances. Advise concerning budget/schedule corrections. Ensure project controls reporting processes are applicable to track costs and duration of projects. Track Work Order Authorization budgets are not over run. Ensure oversight accruals are reported and applied to monthly forecast projections. Recognize historical trends and provide forecasting for projects, monitor and modify cash-flow. Oversight of schedule and critical path to report any deviations to Project Management. Ensure forecast is revised monthly and is based on consideration of progress, earned value, pending change orders, expenditure rates, and productivity factors. Prepare graphs, diagrams, and other exhibits to illustrate cost/schedule status and forecast requirements for management. Ensure current budget and schedule is updated according to the change management process with latest approved change orders. Schedule and attend meetings.
Req. BSC in Project Management or Civil Engineering & 5 years’ experience as Project Manager, Project Engineer, Asst Project Manager, Project Manager Intern or related OR MSC & 1 yr experience. Req. Knowledge of cost estimating and schedule management.
