Background: San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) is a 2,200MW twin nuclear reactor power station and one of the largest nuclear generating stations in the U.S. It was shut down in 2013 and is currently in the process of being safely decommissioned, which will take up to 20 years.

Project Work: CM Solutions provided scheduling services to the SONGS Design Engineering Organization’s (DEO) capital improvement program from 2011-2013. CMS coordinated with the engineering team leaders and SONGS senior management to manage fully resourced and cost loaded schedules. We also developed data reconciling procedures to collect plant SAP data and integrate it with real-time P6 schedules and reports.
