Robyn Coates, PE, PSP – CEO
Robyn Coates is the founder and CEO of CM Solutions. Her responsibilities include staff training and management, operations oversight, scheduling and project control. Robyn takes a hands-on, proactive approach to client service and is personally involved with client consulting and development–making sure that CMS provides the highest quality services possible.
Robyn has advanced degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering and maintains a Professional Engineering license in the state of California and the PSP certification. She has more than 15 years of construction scheduling experience with some of the most complex projects in Southern California. Her expertise includes baseline schedule development, resource and cost loading scenarios, project schedule updating, earned value analysis, development of time impact analysis and claims preparation and review.
Rob Springer – President
Rob Springer’s responsibilities include staff management, business development, and project oversight. He is also skilled with time impact analysis, claims preparation and review, trend analysis, and estimating, and he works personally with clients on scheduling, project control issues, and construction management.
Rob has over 27 years of experience in the construction industry as an engineer, contractor, and consultant. As an accomplished civil engineer, he acquired extensive hands-on field, planning/scheduling, and construction management experience in a wide variety of worldwide construction projects. As a project planner and scheduler, he has extensive knowledge of baseline schedule development and reviews, resource and cost loading scenarios, project schedule updating, and progress pay requests. Relying on his extensive background in construction and scheduling, Rob is uniquely suited to communicate with the entire project team and deliver superior project controls that work.
Dylan Hirsch, PMP – VP Project Controls
Dylan Hirsch works with clients to develop and implement solutions for planning and forecasting processes and tools at both the project and portfolio levels. He is especially skilled with evaluating current systems, weeding through the clutter to identify solutions, and then guiding the team through implementation and quality assurance. He also has a passion to develop and mentor skilled people in project controls, and to connect the right people with clients’ needs.
Dylan has 17 years’ experience in project management for large scale, complex design and construction projects in both the public and private sectors. He has an exceptional understanding of using technology and processes to solve problems, and a passion to see project controls used more effectively for long-term solutions with greater impact.
Joe Schlegel – VP Business Development
Joe Schlegel moved over to CMS after a 27-year successful leadership career with Verizon. He strongly believes that “people buy from people they like and people they trust”. Building client relationships is the key to any successful business.
Responsibilities include identifying personnel for our clients, developing sales opportunities and building relationships within the industry to help spread the gospel of construction management.
