Background: SoCalGas is the nation’s largest natural gas distribution utility and covers diverse terrain throughout central and southern California. It committed almost $10 billion from 2020-2024 to expand and upgrade its natural gas pipeline infrastructure to enhance safety, reliability and cleaner energy.
Project Work: CM Solutions is providing project management and project controls support for gas pipeline, transmission and compressor projects, from design and procurement through construction, then closeout and commissioning. We developed procedures to bring industry best practices to program management and introduced methods and tools to accurately forecast, control and manage EPC projects.
