CM Solutions, (CMS), announced today they have been selected as one of the firms to provide on-call project controls support services to Los Angeles World Airports, (LAWA). The five-year contract has an estimated value of approximately $15 million.
LAWA, a department of the City of Los Angeles, is currently in the midst of a multi-billion-dollar capital improvement program at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The centerpiece of the program is the Landside Access Modernization Program, (LAMP) and the Consolidated Rental Car Center, (CONRAC), which includes an Automated People Mover, (APM). The APM, which will be free of charge to all users, will consist of an elevated 2.25-mile-long guideway with six stations, pedestrian bridges to airport terminals, parking garages and fixed facilities. Additionally, there are several major airfield and facility projects underway that are part of the development program.
“We are extremely honored that CMS has been selected for representation within the small business community.” said Robyn Coates, CEO of CMS. “LAWA’s advocacy for inclusion of all sizes and types of businesses for this latest round of LAX capital improvements is a statement of commitment to our community. We look forward to being an integral part of LAWA’s continued investment in the city of Los Angeles,” added Coates.
